 The mission of Jericho Road Pasadena is to build nonprofit capacity by matching the professional talents of highly qualified volunteers with the needs of community based nonprofit organizations to promote community development, strengthen social services and enrich the lives of volunteers.In 2015 they extended their match-making services to place board members at local organizations, because knowledgeable and committed leadership is so crucial to non-profit success. The Leadership Connection is comprised of three 3-hour sessions.
Which prepare participants for board duty and also offer substantial individual development. Topics covered by their two experienced trainers are financial and legal oversight, strategic planning, resource development and ambassadorship. The placement of TLC graduates on nonprofit boards supports the health of local non-profits and expands the sense of community spirit and engagement of each participant. Jericho Road also received a grant from the Leo Buscaglia Foundation in 2014.
