Care Through Touch Institute received a grant for their transportation fund to underwrite the cost of transportation for their massage volunteers ensuring that they will be able to volunteer a minimum of twice monthly. CTI’s mission is to accompany, comfort and empower homeless and marginally housed people through safe therapeutic seated massage therapy and compassionate supportive presence.Together with a caring and supportive presence, Care Through Touch Institute constitutes a public act of charity and justice that transforms providers, empowers recipients, and awakens society to the human and spiritual needs of those who are ignored, invisible, and pushed to the margins of society.
