SOY’s mission is to provide a safe and welcoming space for teens to find hope,
to nourish a sense of self and an ability to grow, and to develop interests and
skills to become productive members of society.

- SOY takes their academic students on college tours and the SOY alumni at the campus give a tour to the current student.

- SOY provided space to study and internet access for students during COVID when students went back to a hybrid model.

- Students come to study to SOY after school and many seniors provide tutoring to their peers.

- The SOY academic room has internet access, tutoring, printing and college counseling appointments.

- SOY has an Academic Awards Night every year and gives out their college scholarships to all graduating seniors.

- SOY provided space outside to study at the beginning of COVID because students still needed internet access.

- Our underprivileged and financially insecure youth provide community service and help give out food to other families in need.
