Seeds to Plate grows students’ love of learning, healthy food, and nature through garden-based education. Our program utilizes the natural world to give students a deeper understanding of their academic subjects while at the same time sowing seeds that can grow into global stewardship and healthy life choices.

- Students love to cook whatever is in season. They say “yes!” to sauteed greens with garlic and olive oil.
- During COVID, the garden pivoted to supply a food bank created by the school’s parent for students’ families in need.
- UCLA interns play a big role in working with the students and the garden.
- Students enjoy growing radishes because they grow fast. The students are curious about them, too.
