“Wow! Thanks to all the very nice folks who came by our offices early this morning (Sun.) to drop off clothes for our MLK Day Clothing Drive & Community Breakfast. So much stuff! Pictured are Mark & Linda (from Hermosa Beach), Leslie (from Rancho Cucamonga), Big Sunday vet and favorite Kari Jaffe, and Ralph from our great friends at Para Los Niños. (We’re all in it together!) we also had folks from Culver City, Santa Monica, Westwood, Torrance, Larchmont Charter, Los Angeles Tennis Club, Adat Shalom Synagogue West L.A., Oakwood School, and MANY more. (We had great donuts, too.) You can drop off clothes at our offices on Melrose all week: M-F, 9-5. And we’ll be there next Saturday (Jan 13) 9-11 a.m. (But only ’til 11.)(Really.) WE NEED ALL KINDS OF NEW AND GENTLY-USED CLOTHES FOR ALL KINDS OF DISADVANTAGED AND GRATEFUL PEOPLE. SOCKS & UNDERWEAR MUST BE NEW. Hope you can help. After all, we’re all in it together! Please share this. (And no, it’s not too late to sign up to help sort all the clothes on Monday the 15th!)”
