Dear Friends:
This year has been a year of growth and change for the
Leo Buscaglia Foundation. The Board and I are proud to share
with you a description of the Foundation’s accomplishments.
High on the list is our record of giving. Nineteen organizations
received grants from the Foundation for good work in fostering
the spirit of giving in their communities for a total of
$119,000, matching the record level of 2006.
We were also pleased and proud to have sponsored our first
fundraiser with the Valley Village Foundation on June 23rd
2007, at the Sheraton Universal Hotel, Universal City, California.
We are also proud to have enhanced the usefulness and functionality
of the Foundation’s web site. Your comments are welcome.
These efforts reflect the Board’s commitment to expanding
the activity and to broaden the reach of the Foundation.
On
behalf of our Board and staff, thank you for your interest
and past generosity. As you consider your charitable giving
throughout the year, we hope you will include the Leo Buscaglia
Foundation. With your help, we will continue to spread Leo’s
legacy and support the good works of organizations that
are providing exceptional service to their communities.
With warm wishes,
Paul A. Gilbert
