Dear Leo Buscaglia Foundation Friends:
Our Founder, Leo Buscaglia believed in the power of loving and giving and established his foundation to encourage this spirit and behavior in others. In 2005 the Leo Buscaglia Foundation was proud to be able to grant funds to eleven organizations with a wide diversity of missions, programs and populations served. What they share in common is their give-back approach and integration of a strong volunteer component, which continues Leos legacy of caring and sharing.
Grants ranged in size from $2500 to $20,000 for a total of $127,500 to the following organizations:
- Harbor Interfaith Services San Pedro, California. Awarded $15,000 for their HIS Kids Club, an after school program for homeless children residing in their emergency shelter or transitional living complex.
- Glendale Association for the Retarded Glendale, California. Awarded $15,000 for either their Multi-Cultural or Pastimes program.
- King Street Youth Center Burlington, Vermont. Awarded $7,500 to expand their Junior-Senior Buddy mentoring program.

Leos message of love is always relevant and especially timely in this season of giving and sharing. We invite you to renew your support for the Foundation and help foster the spirit of giving in our communities.
Thank you for the possibility of your continued support.
Warm wishes this holiday season,
