Born For Love
Reflections On Loving
Thank goodness I had a blue pen in my hand when I started reading Born For Love. After all the underlining, bracketing and checkmarks, a red pen would have left the book looking like the scene of a disastrous accident!
I check marked many of the quotes from the famous and not-so-famous to add to my own quote database. Dr. Buscaglia included the words of others to support and expand his own thoughts.
I underlined sentences and bracketed paragraphs of points I wanted to ponder later on.
There are only 298 pages in the book, not quite a year of reading, but I would recommend it to anyone looking for a daily devotional. The one page reflections are an excellent way to begin your day.
What topic could be more important than love? Both self-love and the love of others.
I have been blessed with a tremendous amount of love in my life. You think I would know a lot about it. Born For Love reminded me of facets I had forgotten. It brought lessons to the forefront that I have neglected in my busy days. The words soothed my heart.
Dr. Buscaglia encouraged – and challenged – me to love more, to push my love boundaries and, most importantly, to teach love to everyone I meet. This book is the perfect reflection for today.
