The Mission of the Ohio Hospice & Palliative Care Organization (OHPCO) promotes is to promote the development and delivery of highest quality health services for the care of people with chronic or serious life-threatening illness through advocacy, education and member support services. The focus of the Bobby’s Books Program, under the direction of OHPCO, is to educate our communities about children’s grief issues and the importance of addressing them with care, knowledge and purpose. In the educational presentation we demonstrate how to use books and everyday happenings to build a child's coping skills to act more independently, assume responsibility for their actions, tolerate frustration, approach new challenges with enthusiasm, and be proud of their accomplishments.
